PRODUCTS:    D&W built “exchange” or “overhaul” units.

 

COVERAGE:    D&W Diesel and Electric warranties its “exchange” or “overhauled” products from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of one (1) year or 100,000 miles or 3600 hours of operation, whichever occurs first from date of installation.

 

PROCEDURE:  D&W will, during the warranty period, repair or replace at no charge any warrantable failed part that is returned to D&W.

 

LIMITATIONS:  D&W Diesel and Electric is not responsible for failures resulting from owner/operator abuse or neglect such as: defective electrical wiring, connectors, batteries; operation without adequate coolant, fuel or lubricant; overfueling, overspeeding; lack of maintenance of lubricating, cooling or air intake systems; improper storage, starting, warm-up or shut-down practices; improper installation or misapplication.

 

D&W is not responsible for towing, communication expenses, meals, lodging or similar costs incurred as a result of a warranty failure.  D&W is not responsible for “down-time” expenses or any other business costs, losses, incidental or consequential damages resulting from a warranty failure.  The venue for any litigation brought against D&W is restricted to Cayuga County of the State of New York.

 

These warranties are the sole warranty of D&W Diesel and Electric.  D&W makes no other warranties, expressed or implied.

 

 

PRODUCTS:      D&W Time and Material “repair” jobs.

 

COVERAGE:      D & W warranties time and material “repair” jobs to be free from defects in materials and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date the repair was performed.  This warranty covers only the work performed and the parts replaced during the D&W repair.  This warranty will not cover the parts or labor to replace failed parts not previously replaced by D&W.

 

PROCEDURE:    D&W will, during the warranty period, repair the product in accordance with the “coverage” statement above, at no charge for any D&W accepted warrantable failure.

 

LIMITATIONS:    Same as for “exchange” or “overhaul” units.

 

 

PRODUCTS:      Outside vendor supplied products offered for sale through D&W.

 

COVERAGE &

PROCEDURES: The vendor’s warranty policy in place at the time of the sale will apply.

 

LIMITATIONS:    D&W makes no other warranties beyond those of the vendor.
